Post-Show Discussion: Fat Ham - A Historical Rendition

Friday, April 26 at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Did you know William Dorsey Swann held the first Drag Ball in the 1890s?

Join us after the Friday, April 26 performance of Fat Ham for a discussion about Black queer icons throughout history. Community educator AJ Musewe will guide participants through early examples of Black queer expression and key figures who made important contributions, from the 1800s to the Harlem Renaissance to today. Come learn more about their lasting influence on music, literature, self-expression, social justice, and popular culture, and how these themes tie into Fat Ham.
