Dear Subscriber,

Eight short months ago we began our jobs as institutional leaders for the Rep, armed with a great season, a loyal audience, and a slew of ideas, inspirations, and possibilities. What we didn’t have was any idea how successful this season would be! It’s certainly been one for the record books, packed with provocative performances, hard-to-get tickets and ample opportunities for meaningful conversation.

Indeed, we’ve experienced some amazing plays over the past several months—including The Vaudevillians, All the Way, The Great Society, The Piano Lesson and Dear Elizabeth—and, as a subscriber, you’ve had a front row seat for them all, as well as some behind-the-scenes exclusives. Perhaps most excitingly, when everyone else was scrambling to grab the hottest ticket of the holiday season, yours had already been delivered to your mailbox (and at a fraction of the cost).

Buoyed by our unprecedented successes this season, we are currently planning a season of plays for 2015 – 16 which will see us continue to take big risks and produce significant and expansive works on our stages.

But it’s a lot of moving pieces. Every day we are coordinating with writers, directors, agents and partner theatres to nail down all the moving parts before we can officially announce the season—which we will do later this spring.

At the same time, we want to give you—our most loyal subscribers—the chance to reserve your seats early. Please know, too, that your advanced commitment provides crucial financial support at this time of the year, and functions as a powerful endorsement of the kind of theatre we’re producing for our community.

It’s been a great ride so far this year and we know you don’t want to miss next year’s journey. So go ahead and take the leap. We’ll be there waiting for you with another great season of plays on the other side.

Best,

Braden Abraham
