INTERNSHIPS
PROFESSIONAL ARTS TRAINING PROGRAM
The Seattle Repertory Internship Program offers practical experience to bridge the gap between academia and the world of professional
theatre. Seattle Rep seeks bright, creative, reliable and self-motivated individuals with basic training and experience in theatre, who are
committed to strengthening their skills and talents.
Applications for next
season will be accepted from

Interns undertake responsibilities as members of the staff, contribute ideas, participate in department and staff meetings,
and complete projects under the guidance of their supervisors. Interns also participate in professional workshops and seminars,
which provide contact with the theatre staff, guest artists, and members of the Seattle arts community. Staff members guide the
work of each intern to help prepare them for a career in professional theatre.
Applicants should regard the Seattle Repertory Internship Program as a full-time commitment of at least 40 hours per week
throughout our full season (September through May). Additional employment is not always possible or practical. The program does
not provide housing or transportation. Interns will receive a weekly stipend; however, this is not enough to cover living
expenses in the Seattle area. Nevertheless, the Rep is happy to provide information regarding housing options and other resources.
Check out our link Living in Seattle for more housing information available on the web.
If interns wish to receive academic credit for their internship
it is the intern's responsibility to make arrangements with
the sponsoring institution. Academic credit is up to the discretion
of the intern's college or university. Seattle Rep will provide
the sponsoring institution any necessary reports or evaluations.
