Zoë Sonnenberg is a writer, dramaturg, and director from Chicago, Illinois. She holds a bachelors degree in English from Stanford University, with a minor in Theatre and Performance Studies. She is passionate about new musical development, as well as the power of theatre to engage audiences as agents for social change. Past dramaturgical work includes internships at Second Stage Theater (New York) and American Repertory Theater (Boston), Gaieties 2018, Gaieties 2017, Ragtime, and Equivocation (Stanford University). Directing credits include The Last Five Years and Gaieties 2016 (Stanford University); writing credits include Gaieties 2015, an original play about the Grateful Dead, and a one-woman show about the college experience entitled The Last Four Years (Stanford University). Zoë is also a singer and avid foodie.
