Student Matinees: Thursday, January 31, 2013

Scott’s Notes: Student audiences adored our production of Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross a couple of seasons ago, and American Buffalo promises to deliver the same captivating dose of comic testosterone. Though Mamet is infamous for the amount of profanity in his plays, he has also created a type of dialogue (now widely imitated) unique in the theatrical canon. Along with The Glass Menagerie, American Buffalo is regarded as a classic of the American theatre. Buffalo is a natural choice for language arts or erama students and is recommended for high school audiences.

  • Recommended for high school.
  • Contains heavy profanity.
