Producing a rare “bucket list” classic with an enormous professional cast and community ensemble (comprised of participants from our Public Works
program) as well as large-scale sets conveying three different worlds. -
Elevating the artistic experience with a live musician on stage instead of recorded music, creating a truly moving and memorable setting.

Conjuring ghostly spectacle through stage magic and transporting audiences back to Britain between World Wars with lush period costumes and scenery.

Evoking 1930s Harlem through design, materials, costumes, and live blues music that immerses audiences in the world of the play.

Supporting a development workshop and a playwright residency during the rehearsal process to refine the script before this world premiere reaches the stage.

Anchoring the authenticity of the show through participation from artists who can convey the cultural specificity of the characters and Miami setting.
Through our new Strategic Plan, Seattle Rep is evolving toward a more sustainable production model that will grow attendance and earned revenue—but change takes time.
